While we are all getting excited for WOMEX 17 in Katowice, planning has already begun for WOMEX 18. Today we have revealed the WOMEX 17 Opening and Kato Connections stage, two programme points that take a particular look towards our host city of Katowice and its place in the world. We're excited to give you the first WOMEX 17 Showcase and DJ Summit artists - 18 artists representing 23 countries.
Next year WOMEX goes South - in fact we will take you to the most southerly city of Europe: WOMEX 18 will take place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 24-28 October 2018! We also have some exciting additions to our Conference programme, including more sessions and speakers. We've just added another 20 artists to the Official Showcase and DJ Summit line up, bringing the total to 38 artists representing 36 countries from just about every corner of the world.
